CD&M - Greenwood Lake Park

Lake Street northeast of Delaware, Ohio with the Delaware Street Railway tracks shown alongside Greenwood Lake. Greenwood Lake was formed by damning Sugar Run in the 1890s. The streetcar company owned the park. In 1901 the CD&M purchased the Delaware Street Railway and presumable the park.

The photos on this page were taken by the Bierberg Brothers around 1905-1910. Photos from the Galen Gonser Collection.

It is late fall and there is not much activity at the lake.
